Hanley Primary Care Centre

OUR MISSION: “HELPING LOCAL PEOPLE LIVE LONGER, HEALTHIER LIVES”

OUR VISION:“PROVIDING SAFE, PERSONAL, COORDINATED CARE FOR THE COMMUNITY WE SERVE”

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Named accountable GP for all patients

All patients now have a named GP who is responsible for patients’ overall care at the practice. If you wish to know who this is, and if you have a preference as to which GP that is, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate this request. Please ask reception.

Patient Online Access

Giving you more choice in accessing GP services

Patient Online will help you to take greater control of your health and wellbeing by increasing online access to services. Using Patient Access, you can view, book and cancel appointments at your GP surgery from home, work or on the move - wherever you can connect to the internet. Plus, Patient Access allows you to view your GP medical records online. Please ask the reception for more details.

Electronic Prescription Service (EPS)

We offer the Electronic Prescription Service, which allows you to choose or "nominate" a pharmacy to get your medicines or appliances from. Your GP then sends your prescription electronically to the place you nominated. this means:

  • If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit your GP practice to pick up your paper prescription, saving time.
  • You will have more choice about where to get your medicines from because they can be collected from a pharmacy near to where you live, work or shop.
  • You may not have to wait as long as your repeat prescriptions could be prepared before you arrive.
